Basic first aid for parents / carers
This course is a 2-3hr certification course for parents or carers of babies or young children.
This demonstration sessions covers the following important topics beneficial to anyone with a child in care:
- Basic CPR – demonstrated on infant and baby manikins
- Choking
- Burns
- Drowning
- Febrile Convulsion
- Seizure
- Injuries – including breaks, bleeding
At the completion of the course participants will receive a personalised ‘Basic First Aid for Parents/Carers’ certificate as well as an ID card for their wallet.
