Work for CPR First Aid

Would you like to become a first aid trainer?

CPR First Aid are always keen to support people with a strong desire to become first aid trainers.  If you are currently completing a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, you are welcome to sit in on a few classes to 'learn the ropes' from our trainers.  All we ask in return is for you to assist the trainer in things like keeping the training rooms tidy, looking after manikins etc.

Obviously, we can't let you become a fully fledged trainer straight away.  We still need to abide by the conditions of registration for Registered Training Organisations.  So, to become a qualified first aid trainer you will need the following (as a minimum):

1.  A Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment (talk to us if you are already enrolled into this course);

2.  Current first aid qualifications that meet or exceed the requirements of the courses that you intend to deliver;

3.  Practical experience in administering first aid.

We're also happy to employ trainers as sessional trainers, so if you have your own training supplies such as manikins and vehicle, laptop and digital projector then please call us on 1300 642 427 or email us at tim@cprfirstaid.com.au with your resume.  If you don't have them yet, then we should still talk.  We look forward to hearing from you!
